Jayanta Dasgupta a guitar graduate from the Guitar Institute of Technology, Musician’s Institute, Hollywood, California, Jayanta has trained under some of the finest musicians in the industry. He has been playing the professional music circuit in India for the last 25 years and has also performed extensively in Los Angeles, Germany and London. He has been playing with his band at Someplace Else at The Park Hotel, Calcutta, every weekend, for the last 15 years.His deep interest in the blues has taken him on a long musical journey which covers all styles of classic and contemporary blues sounds, including advanced bottle neck guitar. He currently lives and works from Calcutta, India.
